Jacksons supports local cancer charity’s new Pink Promenade Sunset Walk

The Jacksons team are delighted to be supporting The Pink Promenade Sunset Walk, a new charity event in aid of ABC Breast Cancer Support Jersey.

Walkers, including the charity’s new patron, Kate Taylor from the Real Housewives of Jersey, will set off along St Aubin’s Bay on the evening of Saturday 26^th June, raising vital funds and awareness of breast cancer support services in the island.

The event is open to everyone and the organisers are encouraging all those taking part to dress up in the charity’s signature pink.

Registration is £10 per person and is open to both teams and individual walkers. Registration forms can be found at www.breastcancersupport.org.je

The walk is being run in-line with the latest Covid regulations and to adhere to track and trace requirements, walkers must register before 20^th June 2021.

As well as raising awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection, the charity offers emotional, practical and financial support for islanders with breast cancer.

The Pink Promenade Sunset Walk is the first of a number of the charity’s initiatives Jacksons will be supporting in 2021, watch this space for more updates in the coming weeks.
