The future looks quieter and cleaner on the islands’ roads with more and more of us ditching the diesel and petrol and making the switch to electric vehicles.

The UK will stop selling new petrol and diesel cars from 2035 and Jersey has the roadmap to follow suit.

The majority of pure EVs have a range of between 100 and 200 miles, making them the ideal drive for the islands’ roads. While the UK might be struggling right now with a lack of charge points, when it’s time to power up, you’re never going to be far from one in Jersey or Guernsey.
