The team at Jacksons are looking forward to adding some of their own horsepower to the Guernsey Riding and Hunt Club Annual Showing Show this weekend.
Dozens of horses and ponies will be well groomed and turned out for the big show on Saturday and Sunday at the Guernsey Riding and Hunt Club.
There are 34 different showing classes over the weekend including an in-hand Shetland and miniature pony class, an in hand ex-race horse class, classes for hunters and even fancy dress classes. Eight of the showing classes are being sponsored by Jacksons who will be presenting some of the trophies.
Two visiting judges from the UK will have the hard task of deciding the winners and the top four in each class will qualify for the Jersey Horse of the Year Show.
Meanwhile Jacksons will have a small fleet of cars on display during the weekend, a chance to show off some alternative horse power!
Onno Termeulen Head of Business Jacksons Guernsey said, “We’re delighted to be supporting this fantastic event which brings the local equine community together. It looks set to be a brilliant weekend of showing and we look forward to being a part of it.”
Daisy Black of the Guernsey Riding and Hunt Club said, “Guernsey Riding and Hunt Club are delighted to welcome Jacksons as a main sponsor for our Annual Showing Show. We thank them for their kind generosity and hope they enjoy watching some great riding and horsemanship from members and non-members throughout the weekend!”
