Learning the tools of the trade at Jacksons

Four local teenagers have been learning the tools of the trade at Jacksons this summer.

The 15 year-olds took up work experience placements at our dealership as part of the Trident scheme.

Daniel Rodrigues from Le Rocquier School took on the role of Sales Administrator, learning about our culture and values and the importance of excellent customer service.

As Parts Assistant, Victor Nunes also from Le Rocquier School learnt how we maintain our stock of replacement genuine parts sourced from the many well known motoring manufacturers that we represent

Marco Goncalves from Grainville joined the workshop team in the role of Assistant Motor Technician, providing support and learning from our lead mechanics.

Whilst Tiago D’Ascencao worked as Warehouse Assistant, helping to catalogue, organise and deliver parts and products from our busy warehouse.

All Jersey secondary school students take part in Trident, a unique opportunity to experience working life while still at school.

We hope our four recruits enjoyed their time with us and that they have gained a good insight into the range of the exciting careers available in the motor industry.
