Jacksons Group in the Channel Islands is on the road to becoming Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) approved, the motor industry’s recognised accreditation for vehicle financing.
The sales teams in both Jersey and Guernsey have undertaken the online training to learn more about motor finance.
Launched by the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) in 2007, SAF provides knowledge-based motor finance learning to boost professionalism and increase consumer confidence in motor finance.
Commenting on the training, Steve Gladdish, Jacksons Group Risk & Compliance Director said, “Every member of the team involved in the financing aspect of our business has undertaken this training including myself and our Group F&I Manager. These qualifications strengthen the credibility of the Jacksons Group sales team and has given each member of the team more knowledge and confidence with finance-related questions, which will further improve our customers’ experience.”

The SAF training is great for the whole sales team and provides a pathway of learning for staff at all levels of their career, those new to the dealership right through to those wanting to gain a specialist motor finance qualification which is A-level equivalent.”
